每年10月下旬至12月初，秋意裹挟着冷空气漫过金陵古城，世界文化遗产明孝陵便挣脱了时光的束缚，酿成一场跨越古今的视觉盛宴。这座中国大明王朝开国皇帝朱元璋的皇家陵寝正迎来颜值巅峰，用斑斓色彩与文脉底蕴，描绘出一部秋韵史诗。

From late October to early December, crisp autumn air sweeps through Nanjing, and the imperial Xiaoling Mausoleum — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — breaks free from the constraints of time, offering a visual feast that spans past and present. The imperial tomb of Zhu Yuanzhang, founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), reaches the height of its autumnal splendor, where vibrant foliage and centuries of history combine to create a seasonal masterpiece.

古韵悠悠，山河入梦，作为南京唯一一处世界文化遗产，明孝陵距今已有六百余年历史。石象路是明孝陵神道的第一段，全长约615米，沿途依次排列狮、獬豸、骆驼、象、麒麟、马等六种石兽，道路两旁栽种着丰富的观叶树种，入秋后树叶变色，红黄相间，极富美感，是摄影爱好者们拍摄南京秋景的热门地。当清晨的第一束丁达尔光照耀在泛黄的枝叶间，南京石象路便成了最动人的画卷。

Steeped in ancient charm — where mountains and rivers feel dreamlike — the imperial Xiaoling Mausoleum is Nanjing’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a history spanning more than six centuries. Shixiang Road is the first section of the Sacred Road at the imperial Xiaoling Mausoleum. Stretching about 615 meters, it is lined with six types of stone animals — lions, xiezhi, camels, elephants, qilin, and horses. On both sides grow a rich variety of deciduous trees that turn shades of red and yellow in autumn, making the road a favorite spot for photographers. When the first rays of morning light filter through the golden leaves, Shixiang Road transforms into an enchanting living painting of Nanjing’s autumn.

游人们惊喜的在秋色无边的石象路徜徉着，眼睛捕捉着四处美景，用镜头不时记录着此刻的风景。神道两旁，乌桕、银杏、枫香、榉树等彩叶树木次第换妆，焦黄、橘红、绯红交织成流动的油画，落叶不扫的小径铺满松软的秋意，踩上去沙沙作响如时光低语。更绝的是路旁静静伫立的石兽，历经六百年风雨仍气魄宏大，古拙线条与绚烂秋景碰撞，让每一帧画面都充满电影感。

Visitors wander delightedly along Shixiang Road, immersed in its boundless autumn colors. Their eyes chase the beauty in every direction, and their cameras rise from time to time to capture the moment. Along both sides of the Sacred Road, Chinese tallow trees, ginkgoes, sweetgums, and hackberries take turns changing into their autumn coats. Golden, orange, and crimson tones blend into a shifting oil painting. The leaf-covered path feels soft underfoot — each gentle crunch like a whisper of time. Most striking of all are the stone animals standing silently beside the road. Weathered by six centuries of wind and rain, they remain imposing and full of presence. Their ancient, rugged lines set against the brilliant autumn scenery give every scene the feel of a cinematic frame.

“一年好景君须记，正是橙黄橘绿时。”

这是一千多年前，中国著名诗人苏轼在秋末冬初写给好友的勉励诗句，此景用来形容此时的石象路最为恰当。

Over a thousand years ago, the famous poet Su Shi wrote this line t encourage a friend at the turn of autumn to winter. Today, it perfectly captures the spirit of Shixiang Road in this season.

而这一年中限定的美景，也是经过景区园林人的不懈努力才被打造出来的。由一些资料图片可以看出，起初，整条石象路上面只有石头的雕塑，没有任何景观植被。经过一代代园林人的补植、浇灌、养护，我们才能看到现在各种彩叶树种交织在一起的梦幻盛景，这才使陵寝神道进阶成为了如今的“最美600米”。

This once-a-year spectacle is the result of the tireless efforts of the park’s landscaping teams. Early photos show that the entire stretch of Shixiang Road originally featured only the stone sculptures, with no surrounding landscaping. Thanks to generations of gardeners who planted, watered, and carefully nurtured the trees, we can now enjoy this dreamlike scene where layers of colorful foliage intermingle. Their dedication has transformed the Sacred Road into what is known today as the “most beautiful 600 meters.”
